The Invictus Games was formed in 2014 and has since taken place in different locations including London, Orlando, and Toronto. This year it will be held in Sydney, and will see over 500 participants from all over the world compete and display their talents. The 2018 Invictus Games will take place for one whole week in multiple locations across Sydney, such as Sydney Olympic Park and in areas surrounding Sydney Harbour.
The events - which will feature adaptive sports archery, athletics, indoor rowing, Jaguar Land Rover driving challenge, powerlifting, road cycling, sailing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, and more - will have participants from 18 different nations taking part throughout the week-long games. It’s the ultimate opportunity to honour and show your support for injured servicemen and women from all over the world, and will end with a colourful closing ceremony honouring their achievements at the Qudos Bank Arena in Parramatta on its final day.
