NAIDOC is an abbreviation of National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee. NAIDOC festivities are held in Australia every year to pay tribute to the culture, history and accomplishments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
On July 8, 2013, celebrate NAIDOC in the City at Hyde Park with Indigenous communities, locals as well as visitors from all walks of life. Learn about the oldest living culture through song, food, art and dance. Listen to popular singers and experience modern and traditional dance. Master the art of weaving while enjoying a day in the park with friends and family.
Make sure to be at Hyde Park, Hyde Park Sydney 2000 for NAIDOC in the City. Entrance to the event is free. NAIDOC in the City is a quick drive and walk from our Sydney CBD Accommodation Specials.
