Laugh it up in Sydney this April and May with the return of the Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney’s biggest comedy festival that takes place each year. Come to Sydney and enjoy a huge program of stand-up comedians, sketch comedy shows, and more with some of the biggest names in comedy arriving from all over the globe.

Set to return for its 14th annual event this 2018, the Sydney Comedy Festival will take over Sydney’s premier venues with a number of Australia’s biggest comedians, famous international comedy stars, and promising rising talents. The shows will include stand-up, sketch comedy, satire, improvisational, absurdist, theatre, magic, and even kids’ comedy - offering something for all tastes. This 2018, the Sydney Comedy Festival is expected to entertain more than 122,500 people in Sydney.

The Sydney Comedy Festival will begin in style this April with unmissable gala events at the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, The Concourse in Chatswood, and the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta - sets to feature performances from some of the biggest names in comedy! Other venues that the Sydney Comedy Festival will take over include Factory Theatre, The Comedy Store, Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace, UNSW Roundhouse, Bondi Pavilion Theatre, EVAN Theatre, Dee Why RSL, Giant Dwarf, Sydney Town Hall, The Juniors Kingsford, Sutherland Entertainment Centre, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, and Seymour Centre.
